Dear Family and Friends,
Cindy and I are thrilled to confirm your invitation to join us on the Friends & Family Adventure Cruise from September 27 – October 4, 2025, aboard the unique Star Flyer. This year, we’re creating a cruise experience unlike any other we’ve done before. We’ve intentionally invited friends and family to join us on this sailing adventure, where we’ll share stories, worship, laughter, and make unforgettable memories together. We might even sing and play the ukulele!

We’ll stop at beautiful ports on the French and Italian Riviera and the historic island of Corsica. We are also especially excited to experience the Voiles de Saint-Tropez, a sailing event on the Mediterranean coast. This regatta was organized in 1999 by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, a nautical club started in 1862. The Voiles de Saint-Tropez brings together over 200 classic boats (some of which are over a hundred years old) and beautiful ultra-modern vessels as they race around the beautiful St. Tropez coastline. It will be an experience we won’t soon forget!
Since you are our special guests, Cindy and I will be covering your cruise fare and $1500 per person to offset travel costs and shore excursions while onboard. The $1500/pp travel subsidy checks will be mailed out 2-3 weeks before sailing.

We can’t wait to see you aboard the Star Flyer!
We welcome prayers for this adventure,
Bubba & Cindy

St Florent lies on a sparkling bay, sheltered between the wild mountains of Cap Corse and the magnificent, untamed Désert des Agriates. It is a friendly town, and though similar in style, less pretentious and more intimate than St Tropez.

Ajaccio - Corsica, France
DAY Four (PM/EVENING)
Tuesday, September 30TH
Ajaccio has a justified reputation as a very stylish city. Napoleon Bonaparte was born here in 1769, and, as you would expect, the city has many sites relating to him, from his childhood home to seafront statues, museums, and street names. Its immediate surroundings are a paradise for hikers, mountain bikers, trekkers and climbers. It provides a whole range of outdoor activities which you can enjoy by yourself or with professionals.

St. Tropez (Beach), France
DAY SIX (AM/MORNING)
THURSDAY, October 2nd

St. Tropez Regatta Obeservation
DAY SEVEN (AM/MORNING)
FRIDAY, October 3rd
Organized for the first time in 1999 by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez (Nautical Club since 1862) – the Voiles de Saint-Tropez bring together on the same stretch of water classic boats, some of which are over a hundred years old, and ultra-modern boats which are among the most beautiful in the world, in keeping with their original spirit of fair play: “the best regattas on the water and the best atmosphere on land”

Nice, France

Portofino, Italy
DAY TWO
SUNDAY, september 28TH
Portofino is a fishing village on the Italian Riviera coastline. It's pastel-colored houses, luxury boutiques and seafood restaurants surround its Piazzetta, a small cobbled square overlooking the harbor, which is lined with super-yachts. A short walk takes you up to the Church of St. George, a church with a cool, plain interior, dramatically situated on the narrow neck of the Portofino headland. As a lookout point, and as a site of religious significance, the spot goes back thousands of years.

Porticcio Beach - Corsica, France
DAY FOUR (AM/MORNING)
TUESDAY, September 30TH
The resort of Porticcio is clean and modern with several beaches in the town. There is a long sandy stretch called the Plage de la Viva that is lively with enough activities going on that most people are happy to stay put. However, if you do feel like venturing away, then head south towards Filitosa. This prehistoric site is in a lovely countryside setting and is one of the rare places in the world where prehistoric engraved stones can be seen.

Calvi - Corsica, France
DAY FIVE
WEDNESDAY, October 1st
Napoleon once said that he could recognize his native island blindfolded because of the wonderful perfume of the maquis. Approaching by sea, it is the first thing you experience about Corsica. The second is its wild and mountainous landscape. Nearby are secluded beaches and the eerie Grottes des Veaux Marins, offering fantastic diving opportunities.
